Our School

Cedarbrae Public is located in the North end of Waterloo, Ontario, near the University of Waterloo and the Albert McCormick Community Centre. Cedarbrae PS serves part of the communities of Lakeshore and Sunnydale. We have approximately 220 students in grades JK (Junior Kindergarten) to grade 6.

Our graduating grade 6 students move on to attend MacGregor PS for grades 7 and 8, and then on to Waterloo Collegiate Institute (WCI) for grades 9 through 12.

Better Beginnings, a community program for parents and children to promote healthy development, runs regular meetings and programs in the neighbourhood and in our school.  Programs such as Kids Club and Coffee and Conversation are coordinated by the Better Beginnings team.
