We are pleased to announce the launch of the redesigned Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) corporate website!

The Updated WRDSB Website

The refreshed WRDSB website features a design that is:

  • Easy to navigate

The website aims to improve public access and engagement with the WRDSB, in alignment with:

Presently, school websites have not changed. In the coming months, the refreshed website template will also be introduced across our school websites.

Engaging with Our Community

During the planning process, WRDSB engaged with all WRDSB Board Committees to gather feedback on the design. Their voices represented students, staff, parents, families, caregivers and community members. The final design incorporates feedback from these stakeholder conversations.

Accessibility

The WRDSB is committed to providing web content that is accessible to as many people as possible. The refreshed corporate website represents another step toward improving digital accessibility and aligning with established web content accessibility guidelines.

Key accessibility updates include:

  • Improved site navigation for users of assistive technology
  • Updated accessibility widget
    • Allows users to make changes to how web pages display to better meet their individual needs

Design and Layout

The refreshed visual design and layout of the WRDSB website focus on creating more intuitive and user-friendly experiences for:
