Friday, January 17, 2025 is a professional development (PD) day for elementary school staff.

  • Students in Kindergarten to Grade 8 will not attend school, in person or virtually
  • Students in Grades 9 to 12 will attend school on their regular schedule
  • All Board-operated Extended Day Programs will operate at reduced hours from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

About Professional Development (PD) Days

PD days are held throughout the school year to provide learning opportunities for school-based staff. This professional learning focuses on providing educators and staff with the knowledge and skills needed to support and enhance student achievement and well being.
