On May 31, we shared with our community that we were lowering our flags to half-mast for 215 hours of observance for the 215 Indigenous children whose bodies were discovered on the grounds of the Kamloops Indian Residential School, and all Indigenous children, families and communities who have been impacted.
Our flags were to be raised this morning, however, to mark the hateful attack that killed four Muslim family members yesterday in London, Ontario, flags across the province will remain at half-mast until sunset on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
We will raise all WRDSB school and office flags to full mast tomorrow along with the Pride Flag.
