Our students have been involved in a couple of great learning opportunities this week.
First, was our “Science Day” – sponsored by the Jeff Brock Memorial Fund, and presented by Scientists in Schools. Students were completely engaged in various science activities, and were immersed in science vocabulary throughout the day!
Our second unique experience involved our grade 2/3, and grade 3 classes. They participated in the “Cardboard Challenge” – creating games, structures, and toys, using cardboard and other materials. Great work students! They use “Caine’s Arcade” (http://cainesarcade.com/) as inspiration.
