The Dual-Language Book Writing Club is an excellent opportunity for students who are able to read and write, age-appropriately, in English and their first language. This club enables students to further develop their bilingual literacy skills as well as allowing them to make connections to their home language and cultural identity.  Students will write and illustrate a dual-language book with a partner who shares the same first language.  Student authors will receive a copy of their book, which will also be added to the WPL children’s book collection so that others may enjoy reading it.  For more information about this dual-language book writing project:  www.duallanguagebookcollection.com
