On Sept 26, our students are participating in our annual Terry Fox event.  Our goal is to raise $500 for the Terry Fox Foundation.

Our plans for the event include:

Kindergarten classes – a walk aorund the school perimeter (by the forest!)

Grades 1 – 4 will take a bus to Laurel Creek, then two students from each class will dip a foot into the water to symbolize Terry Fox dipping his foot into the Atlantic Ocean prior to his Marathon of Hope. We’ll then walk and/or run back to Cedarbrae (2.25 KM)

Grade 5/6 Classes – our two grade 5/6 classes are taking a bike hike to Camp Heidelburg and back.
