The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is proud to announce the release of our latest Multi-Year Accessibility plan, which outlines our plans to meet our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), and outlines our recent achievements in this important work over the past few years.

The WRDSB 2021-2026 Accessibility Plan marks a renewal of our commitment to our responsibilities under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC), and under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (2011). We are committed to ensuring equitable access to our buildings, programs and services for all of the students, families, employees, and community members who learn and work in the WRDSB.

Our commitments, like our plans, continue to grow and evolve. We are building on our past work, to further commit to achieving our accessibility goals in a way that promotes and ensures respect for every person’s human rights, dignity and independence.
